This is the Anthem of Our Generation.

Last week, I really felt God put a message on my heart. A message I feel like im supposed to share with yall right now. Ive spent a lot of time on my face, singing my prayers to God that these would be HIS words and not mine, because I have NOTHING WORTH SAYING, and that yalls hearts would be open to His words. The church is called to be a community of truth, and I AM the church, and I pray that the truth is spoken through me and doesn’t fall on deaf ears.
         I don’t know about you, but Ive put God in a box. Ive diminished His power, not taken His Word as alive, folded Him up like a piece of paper and shoved Him between the pages of my Bible, making Him into the God I wanted Him to be.
          He is NOT that God. He's not that God AT ALL. He is a God of power and authority with love and passion so furious we cant even comprehend it. My God’s not dead, He’s surely alive and He’s roaring like a lion. Ive had the walls broken down around that misconception, that God is NOT alive, quite recently. He is AWESOME. Yall need to understand what the Bible says for a second. That God WAS, and IS and IS TO COME. That He is UNCHANGING. That He was the same yesterday, today and tomorrow.
          right? Right.
SO WHY DON’T WE BELIEVE IT?!
           Weve all heard the stories. Of Jesus making the blind see. Healing lepers of their spots. Making the crippled whole, the lame walk. Waking the dead from their eternal slumber.
          If that God, the God of the Bible, is the same as God now, why do we fail to believe in that side of Him? Why don’t we believe that God is all powerful? That He performs miracles every day? That He heals? That His Name has the power to drive out demons and make the mute to sing? Why do we put limits on God and His power? He is still the same powerful, omnipotent God He was in the Bible. And He lives in you and me. He LIVES in us. He LOVES you and me. He SPOKE the universe into being and then knelt down in the dirt to create us with His own hands, knowing we’d sin against Him and fail Him and drive the nails into His hands every second of every day.
          Let me tell you something. I was under the impression that this God didn’t exsist. That He didn’t perform miracles or allow prophesy. This past week, I saw crippled shoulders healed. A lifetime long struggle with anxiety vanquished. A broken, casted foot shake off its wrappings and dance undignified before God. A teams prayer to be able to declare God’s Name in the Airport answered in my life IN ABUNDANCE. I had life spoken over me by a kid who didn’t know who I was that changed my entire life. He is still the same God, guys. The one who changed the world. The One who died on the cross. He STILL speaks today and we can STILL hear His voice. John 10:14 says that His sheep KNOW His voice. We just need to have faith, guys. FAITH. Believing in what we cannot see.

    In Acts 3, PETER, not Jesus, PETER, in the Name of the Most Holy God declares that a man lame from birth gets up and walks. And what happens?

HE DOES.

Matthew 10:1 says that Jesus gave His disciples the AUTHORITY to cast out evil spirits and heal every kind of disease and illness. WE are his disciples. That means WE have this authority too. We have Christ LIVING IN US. We are His children, which means that by DEFAULT we have the genetics of our Father. When we speak, LIFE should happen because GOD LIVES IN US and when He speaks, LIFE HAPPENS. We are NOT a sick people being made whole, but a whole people shaking off sickness. He wants to love us, and fill us with His spirit, we just have to allow Him in. Allow Him into our hearts and allow Him to break every chain holding us back from Him. Allow Him to SET US FREE from this bondage that we were never meant to bear. Our ONLY VISION should be Jesus, guys. When we walk into a room, people should see His glory radiating off of us. He should be the only thing we care about. The only thing we work towards. We should desire only to fill the earth with His marvelous light. To give His heart to all the people of all the nations. We have got the MIGHTY NAME OF JESUS CHRIST, WHAT MORE DO WE NEED.

I challenge you to stop being a part of the cookie cutter church, guys. God doesn’t care how many times you go to Church, or if youre a ‘good Christian’ or not. What does that even mean???? That does NOT what He called us to. He called us to be broken before Him so He can fill our weakness with His strength. Hes called us to let go of the world, let our comfort zone be destroyed, and RISE UP to our responsibilities to go out and make disciples and shake the nations with His Glorious Name.

This is your life. Seize it. Love Him. Heed the calling of His spirit. Take hold of the freedom He offers and don’t you DARE let go. Shake off your sickness. Take your sword and rise up to fill your place in His offensive army. You were born for such a time as this. This is your time to shine. Let Him break your chains and destroy your comfort zone. Get off your butt, realize that HE IS ENOUGH, take your authority and proclaim His Name. Satan has NO DOMINION here. Realize God CANNOT be put into a box, and that our human minds CANNOT comprehend Him, and if we think we do, if we think we understand everything about God and have no questions about Him, we are wrong. Get rid of everything you think He is, and get rid of everything that you think YOU are. Decide to be the ones telling of God’s power, not the one’s hearing of it. Get over your fears, grieve your past. We are His Army, and it’s a fantastic day to be alive.
 
1 Corinthians 15: 56-58 says "For sin is the sting that results in death, and the law gives sin its power.  But thank God! He gives us victory over sin and death through our Lord Jesus Christ. So, my dear brothers and sisters, be strong and immovable. Always work enthusiastically for the Lord, for you know that nothing you do for the Lord is ever useless."

He has given us victory. VICTORY and FREEDOM in HIS NAME. the only reason that satan has any 'power' is because WE ALLOW HIM. He doesnt have that kind of authority, are you crazy? BE STRONG AND IMMOVEABLE IN CHRIST JESUS. HE PAID IT ALL, AND ALL TO HIM WE OWE. nothing we do for the Lord is EVER useless. the Word, when sent out, always comes back bearing fruit. Get out of the mindset that God is not enough, and that He wont work through you. Its a ridiculous notion. His Word is bigger than you are.

What does God's power mean to you? What does it mean to you that the God of Gods, the Creator of the Universe, the All-Powerful, Omnipotent, One and Only God KNELT DOWN in the dirt that HE CREATED, smiling, saying to Himself, "Hmmm…. today im going to make Caitlinn. In my own image, i will create her. She's going to have brown hair, she'll keep it crazy and short, she herself will be short, she'll have brown eyes, a big smile and a heart for kids. She will be beautiful, because I made her after my own image. She's going to let me down every second of every day, but i want to make her because i want her. i want to love her. i want to lavish her with my blessings, and pour my life into her." He didnt have to do that. But He wanted to. He WANTED to. WHAT DOES THAT MEAN TO YOU?

He's alive, and moving.
